I am an Associate Professor (with Tenure) in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences (SMSS) at Clemson University. I received my PhD at Hacettepe University (Turkey) in 2012 and had my Postdoctoral research at the University of Virgina (USA), Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA).
My research area focuses on the Analysis of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). In particular, I have been working on the wellposedness, regularity, stability/controllability, and approximation properties of certain parabolic/hyperbolic evolution equations and multi-physics PDE systems that are ubiquitous in the modeling of various natural phenomena; e.g, biomedicine, aeroelasticity, fluid mechanics.
The methodologies I use in my research partially entail dynamical systems theory, spectral/resolvent analysis of linear operators, Galerkin method, Lyapunov approach/energy estimates for PDEs.
I gratefully acknowledge that my research has partially been funded by National Science Foundation NSF-DMS-2206200, NSF-DMS-1907823, NSF-DMS-1616425 and SIMONS Foundation-960057.
