I will be offering one-to-one guitar lessons to children between the ages of 8 to 12 years old. Each guitar session will be 30 minutes, scheduled once a week, every weekend (Saturday or Sunday). During the lessons, I will be providing guidance on essential skills such as how to hold the guitar properly while being comfortable while playing and playing notes on the guitar at specific frets and strings. Furthermore, there will be lessons on playing chords and fun strumming patterns to keep the rhythm going. Additionally, there will be theoretical music notation lessons, which may seem challenging; however, I assure you that every lesson is fun, and engaging, and the child will enjoy a slow, easy, and fun progression in learning.
With my vast experience working with kids, I believe that each child can learn how to play the guitar as long as they have a passion and determination to learn. My teaching methods accommodate hands-on learning and slow progression to help the child not feel overwhelmed, but rather have an easy and enjoyable learning experience. The guitar lessons will be optional to the parents, whether to have them at the child's home or my own practiced personal studio to ensure safety and comfort for both the child and parents.
I strongly contend that with my experience teaching kids and playing the guitar, I can make the experience of learning fun and constructive for your child. Moreover, with the proper guidance over time, I will help beginners attain intermediate, and eventually, advanced guitar playing levels! I am wholeheartedly eager to embark on this exciting journey and help your child learn and grow. If you and your child are interested in enrolling in guitar lessons, I highly recommend giving me a try.
