Officers

Nia Manjunath

This is Nia Manjunath and she will be serving as the PHS FBLA President 2017-2018.

When Nia first joined FBLA, she was intent on entering the medical field (specifically pediatrics), but her father encouraged her to explore her other options and look into business. Within her first meeting of FBLA, she fell in love. Even though she was one of the only sophomores, everyone was so kind and encouraging. Nia had the opportunity to participate in some really wonderful fundraisers, fierce competitions, college planning events, and more. She was so comfortable with everyone in the organization that she decided to run for state office within her first year, and with the help of Mrs. Dorval and our wonderful chapter, she was elected by our 500+ state membership. This year, Nia felt inspired to run for national office at FBLA’s National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. She networked with some amazing students, spoke in front of more than 17,000 FBLA students from across the country, and attended some interesting workshops and lectures.

Words cannot express how thankful she is to be a part of such an inspiring organization. Her only regret: not joining earlier. Whether you are a freshman, sophomore, junior, or even a senior, take a chance and join the largest and oldest student led business organization in the world. Even if you do not plan on entering the business field, realize that commerce is an integral part of all of our lives. Understanding the business world will just make you a more responsible consumer and a more responsible adult. If you have any questions, feel free to stop Nia in the hall or email her at nmanjunath18@pelhamsd.org.

President

Dharati Bhagat

This is Dharati and she will be serving as the PHS FBLA Vice President 2017-2018.

Dharati is a senior at Pelham High School and she plans to pursue a major in international business and management. This is going to be her second year in the Future Business Leaders of America.

Last year, being her first year attending Pelham High, she has been quite involved with FBLA. She has helped with our Make-A-Wish fundraiser and the March of Dimes fundraiser. She also attended last year’s State Leadership Conference, where she competed in the Microsoft Word competitive event and ran for state office. Dharati was required to present an election speech in front of more than 500 NH FBLA members, she selected a campaign platform, created her own campaign booth, and answered impromptu caucus questions from the audience as well. Dharati will also be receive the business pathway honor cord at graduation.

Besides FBLA, Dharati is an ambassador and was the Secretary of National Technical Honor Society last year.

Dharati says she is in debt with what the school has provided her in terms of the business classes, the supportive teachers, and the FBLA organization, she could not be where she is without them. Dharati is excited to be serving as your 2017-2018 FBLA chapter Vice President!

Vice President

Carly Kudalis

Hello FBLA members, this is Carly Kudalis and she says it is a honor to serve as the 2017-2018 FBLA Secretary.

Starting high school and thinking about college, she was unsure of what she wanted to study. She had a passion for business, art, and equine, but she was not sure where to start. As a freshman, Carly heard many positive things about the Future Business Leaders of America. This then led her to join the club during her sophomore year.

During her first year, Carly met many wonderful people, took part in the club’s March of Dimes and Make A Wish fundraisers and learned about the club’s most notable event, the Spring Leadership Conference. The fun and excitement of these meetings led me to immediately rejoin the following year. During this year she became more active in the club and helped Mrs. Dorval in the current business class she took with her, Principles of Marketing. As the meetings and class days passed, Carly fell more and more in love with business. From then on she found herself more prepared for the business world she sees out of college. Carly wants to thank FBLA and the many business courses the school provides for setting her up for such success.

Secretary

Cheyenne Lee

Cheyenne is a senior at Pelham High School. She plans to major in sports management in college and eventually would like to go on and receive her master's degree. This is Cheyenne’s third year in FBLA, and first year of being an officer. Cheyenne has attended fall leadership conferences and plans to compete in the upcoming spring leadership conference. Outside of FBLA, Cheyenne is involved in many other clubs, athletics and organizations offered at Pelham High School. By the time Cheyenne graduates, she will be a 12 sport athlete participating in softball, volleyball, soccer and basketball over her four years. Cheyenne will also receive the honor cord at graduation for completing the business pathway involving a series of business classes offered by Pelham High School.

Public Relations

David Oujaimi

David is a senior at Pelham High School and joined the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) his junior year. He joined FBLA because he wants to endure in the Business Pathway and also wants to standout in the business world. David wants to study Finance and Sports Management in college so he can hopefully one day become the Director of Finance for a major sports team. David has taken the position of treasurer as an FBLA officer because he enjoys working with numbers and he hopes it will prepare him for the future.
