Our purpose is to maintain a safe, welcoming, friendly and clean environment for the club to congregate and enjoy flying, stories and banter. Pekin RC is a nonprofit, secular, nonpolitical group that focuses on enjoying the hobby together and having fun! This is what we believe the hobby is all about.
Pekin RC Club is homed at the Hermon D. Lowery field, part of the Everett McKinley Dirksen Park in Pekin Illinois.

The field vehicle entrance is opposite of 3180 Edgewater Dr, Pekin, IL 61554 (utility station)
White and Blue flags mark the opening of the entrance, it's a gravel single lane path with trees/brush on both sides.
Weekly group flights held every Wednesday morning-to-afternoon, often accompanied with grilled food and snacks
Bi-seasonal fly-in/airshow, often with guests from Neighboring Clubs (Open to the Public)
