DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Peer LEADer program provides holistic support for all students as they navigate their experience at Dominican University. Peer LEADers have an important role in supporting the mission of the division of Student Success and Engagement utilizing the LEAD Model; Learn, Engage, Advise, and Develop. LEADers will support the offices located within the SSE Suite (Crown 100): Advising, Career Development, First-Year Experience, and Student Success. Working with the Student Success and Engagement staff, Peer LEADers plan and facilitate programs to address issues such as working with faculty advisors, securing academic tutoring, developing time management skills, navigating career resources, securing internships and employment, and ensuring a successful first-year transition into the University. Peer LEADers also work collaboratively with student organizations, offices, and departments to plan and execute social and developmental activities throughout the year.
