This is a paid position and each Peer LEADer will work approximately 6-10 hours per week .

  • First year Peer LEADers will be compensated by an hourly rate of $10.00

  • Develop leadership skills by serving as a peer advocate and mentor
  • Enhance communication and facilitation skills by leading creative presentations and classroom activities
  • Identify personal strengths and practice utilizing strengths in a professional setting
  • Learn how to work with peers from diverse backgrounds
  • Establish positive relationships with students, staff, and faculty
  • Obtain professional experience by working with an instructor to meet established standards and fulfill expectations
  • Enhance the learning experience of other undergraduate students

*August training will not interfere with other fall trainings, so you will be able to apply for multiple positions. You must attend training in order to be a Peer LEADer.
