This is a paid position and each Peer LEADer will work approximately 6-10 hours per week .
- First year Peer LEADers will be compensated by an hourly rate of $10.00

- Develop leadership skills by serving as a peer advocate and mentor
- Enhance communication and facilitation skills by leading creative presentations and classroom activities
- Identify personal strengths and practice utilizing strengths in a professional setting
- Learn how to work with peers from diverse backgrounds
- Establish positive relationships with students, staff, and faculty
- Obtain professional experience by working with an instructor to meet established standards and fulfill expectations
- Enhance the learning experience of other undergraduate students
*August training will not interfere with other fall trainings, so you will be able to apply for multiple positions. You must attend training in order to be a Peer LEADer.
