A need to help those around me has been within me ever since I can recall being conscious.

The Youth Adivisory Committee, otherwise known as YAC, is a programs that is dedicated to empowering high school students and their communities. Being offered a position as a facillitator once in college, I did not hesitate to jump and serve as a role model for a program I have held dear to my heart.
Having a constant exposure to interacting with individuals improved the way I am able handle uncertain situations. My time working here, expanded my communication skills and the way I work under pressure, from working with rude costomers to managing long lines.
