Pedro José Cazorla García
Welcome to my webpage! I recently finished my PhD at the University of Manchester under the supervision of Gareth Jones and Martin Orr, and I am now working in ICAI as a Profesor Colaborador Asociado.
My research interests lie on the explicit resolution of Diophantine equations by combining the study of Galois representations of elliptic curves and modular forms with other techniques from computational number theory. I am also interested in applications of number theory to other fields, such as cryptography and coding theory.
Prior to my PhD, I did a MSc in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science at the University of Oxford with a Fundación La Caixa scholarship and a Double BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
CV is available upon request.
