My name is Pedro David Morales Vega, and I am a PhD student in mathematics at Purdue University. I am originally from Cuenca, Ecuador, a city in the Andean region located about 2,500 meters above sea level. I earned my B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland in 2021.
I am now in my fourth year of the PhD program, and my research focuses on scattering theory—the study of how perturbations influence wave propagation. I work under the guidance of Kiril Datchev.
