I am an English teacher and teaching enthusiast with a strong passion for language, education, and continuous growth. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to developing effective teaching methods and supporting learners of all levels on their journey toward independence and confidence.
My career began in 2017 as a mentor, leading discussion sessions, before stepping into professional teaching in 2018. Soon after, I worked closely with a university lecturer as an assistant, gaining hands-on experience in methodology, course design, and teacher development. This early path prepared me to become a teacher trainer in 2021, guiding new teachers in their own professional journeys.
At present, I am working as a Mother Tongue English Teacher at IC Urganeti School in Melzo as part of Language Point’s team. Alongside my teaching, I actively participate in professional development, attending workshops, webinars, and training sessions from organizations such as Cambridge and the British Council.
I describe myself as a creative and learner-centered teacher. My philosophy is simple: learning should be engaging, purposeful, and empowering. I encourage autonomy in my students, helping them not only to build knowledge but also to develop the confidence and skills to use English in real-life contexts.
Over the years, I have gained experience in:
Teaching across all levels using course books such as Speakout, Evolve, Roadmap, Headway, Cutting Edge, Four Corners
Training teachers and assisting university professors
Designing courses, workshops, and webinars
Supporting learners with IELTS and other exam preparation
Integrating technology into education through platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, Adobe Connect, Skype, BigBlueButton, and various assignment tracking tools
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I played a key role in helping a large school transition smoothly to online learning for nearly 1,000 students and 30 teachers. My ability to combine technology with pedagogy allowed me to create lessons that remained interactive, structured, and motivating even in challenging circumstances.
For me, teaching is not just a profession but a lifelong passion. I enjoy the diversity of working with learners from different backgrounds and cultures, and I see every classroom as an opportunity to inspire curiosity, creativity, and independence.
