Ph.D. in Mathematics

About me

I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics at PUC-Rio (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) in August 2020, under the direction of Prof. Edgard Pimentel. Also, I spent the academic year of 2019 (Jan- Dec) visiting Prof. Eduardo Teixeira at UCF, Florida. In addition, I spent the period October/2020 - July/2021 visiting Prof. Héctor Chang-Lara at CIMAT, México. Also, I held a postdoctoral position at Universidade de São Paulo - USP, São Carlos (Aug/2021 - Fev/2022), under the supervision of Prof. Ederson Moreira dos Santos. In addition, I held a postdoctoral position at Instituto Superior Técnico (CAMGDS) - Universidade de Lisboa under the supervision of Prof. Hugo Tavares (Mar/2022 - Jan/2024). Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at Instituto Superior Técnico (GFM) - Universidade de Lisboa under the supervision of Prof. James Kennedy.

My research concerns the study of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). More precisely, I am interested in investigating regularity theory, the existence, and the uniqueness of the solutions to elliptic and parabolic equations, optimal partition problems, and spectral theory.
