DNB pediatrics, Fellowship (MUHS) in clinical Genetics

Following completion of MBBS from MUHS, Ami pursued DNB in pediatrics from MAX Nanavati superspecialty hospital in vile Parle West, Mumbai. Thereafter she decided to take up a niche upcoming branch - Clinical Genetics by completing a MUHS fellowship from Seth G S medical college and KEM hospital in Parel Mumbai. Currently she is a consultant in private and charitable institutions as a Geneticist.

Genetics is fast becoming the basis of diagnosis and treatment in medicine since the beginning of 20th century. A Geneticist is someone who helps in diagnosis of genetic disorders and guides regarding the treatment and supportive care. They also can discuss the risk to other family members and in future generations.
