Orientation  

Within the first couple days of your rotation, you will have an orientation session that consists of an introduction to the rotation and a simulation session to practice IVs, intubations and caudals on pediatric mannequins.

Before your first week, you will also need to attend orientation at Shriners Hospital for Children. There you will be introduced to their electronic medical record and obtain pharmacy access. You must pick up your badge prior to orientation. Please keep in mind, if you miss your scheduled orientation at Shriners, you will not be able to attend until your second month.
