About me

I am a Senior Lecturer of Mathematics at Mälardalen University in Västerås, Sweden. You can view my MDU profile here. My research is in algebra, especially involving homological methods in commutative algebra, but my interests also extend into areas involving algebraic geometry, triangulated categories, and topology. A list of my papers and other research interests can be found on my research page or on the arXiv. I am also passionate about teaching at all levels of mathematics and spending time with my family.

Previously, I was an assistant professor at Niagara University, in Niagara Falls, NY, and before that I was a postdoc for three years at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, and two years at TTU in Lubbock, Texas. I received my PhD in 2016 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where my advisor was Mark Walker. Before that, I received my BA (with majors in Mathematics and English Literature) from Augustana University. You can download a current version of my CV here.
