Elbaba M. is a consultant in general pediatrics and pediatric nephrology graduated from Egypt in1989. He worked in many countries before he moved to Qatar in 2011. In his institute, Elbaba is the head section of pediatric nephrology specialty, head of pediatric medical education (CPD), chairman of pediatric simulation, member of pediatric research committee and core faculty in the pediatric residency program. Moreover, he is an Assistant Professor in clinical Pediatrics in WCMC-Qatar. Elbaba is a Fellow in the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH)-UK. He is an advanced medical educator, certified from university of Cincinnati in USA (Graduation certificate and master’s degree in medical education). Elbaba is an expert in the instructional design including curriculum development, assessment and e-learning. Internationally, he is a certified advanced simulation educator (CHSE-A) from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). He was the a past chair of the pediatric section in the international society for simulation in healthcare (SSH) for three years. Elbaba M. is currently a member of Advanced Certification in the SSH certification Council since January 2019. Furthermore, he is the owner, designer & instructor of online courses in different pediatric educational disciplines. Ultimately, he is the owner, designer and founder of several websites: pediatric education global site “PedCourse”, “Pediatric Nephrology” and “History of Medicine”. He designed and conducted dozens of face-to-face and virtual courses and workshops in pediatric postgraduate and undergraduate exams and simulation. Elbaba M. has significant contributions in the international conferences through his research works, talks, workshops and posters. Eventually and apart from medicine, he is certified in many other disciplines like sciences, arts, history and religions. Elbaba is also certified in history of medicine, as well as he has many research articles, contribution and talks in this field. He also has multiple contributions in “Wikipedia” in English; most of them are related to history of nephrology and pediatrics. Finally, Elbaba M. is a public writer and author, he published 12 books in Arabic language up to date. The scope of his writing is related to history, religions, philosophy and mythology.
