Fabrication

The adjustable bike rack shall be fabricated in the University at Buffalo machine shop by students in the group using the following processes as needed:

• Milling
• Sawing
• Drilling
• Grinding
• Welding

Materials

The following materials are available for building components of the adjustable bike rack as needed:

• Aluminum: 60” x 8” plate. 0.25” thickness
• Aluminum: 40” x 1.25” square tube. 0.4” thickness
• Aluminum: 1.25” width, 0.4” thickness. S-shaped, 4” high with two 3” straight sections
