About Us

We are Christians committed to bring about cultural, social and economic changes that would bless New Zealand. We believe that all people are created in the image of God and therefore we are responsible to help and support each other.

We believe that our purpose is to bring about the gospel (the exciting message) of Jesus Christ. It is as simple as the following.

There is evil and suffering both around us and even inside us and we are unable to bring any impacting change to this situation. However, there is a God, who loves us, that instead of getting rid of us along with the evil, chose to give us his love, even when we did not care for him. He came to us, lived among us, and for our sins and failures to keep up the moral standard, took our sin and shame and bore our punishment.

The punishment was painful and costly and it costed the death of Jesus. However the love that God had was far more than that. Jesus died and was buried, but he rose from the dead and it was witnessed by over 500 eye witnesses. This brings us and the world in a new perspective, that there is an end to Sin, end to pain and suffering. However, it can be achieved only through Jesus Christ and by following him and relying in him to help us go each day, trumping over our past failures. This means that the new life we have will not have an end, even if our hearts stopped beating one day.

This new life in Jesus is not only private but communal as well. It means that if we are the follow Jesus, then we are to tell others as well, so that our neighbors, our colleagues, our acquaintances, our friends, our land, our countrymen and everyone we get to meet, interact and fellowship with, are also partakers in this new life.

That is why we exist, to both love each other and support each other in loving and following Jesus Christ, and also to love our land where we live, so that those around us may also see the goodness of God in our lives.

As a charitable society we offer a number of social services to help and support the building of sustainable communities especially in Waikato and the surrounding region. We manage the Pebblemount Christian Assembly and offer community services in Hamilton region.
