I'm using Safari and I click on RedShelf and it doesn't allow me accept cookies
Download Chrome
When I click the Mastering/MyLab/REVEL Course Home link in Blackboard, nothing happens.
Be sure you are allowing popups and cookies from Pearson. Check your browser settings here: http://www.pearsonmylabandmastering.com/system-requirements/
I’m using Safari on a Mac, but I’m having trouble getting into the course.
We recommend using Chrome or Firefox and not Safari. Be sure to double check your browser settings at the link above. Continued issues when using Chrome or Firefox are usually fixed by clearing your browser cache.
I took a class that used MyLabsPlus but now I can’t remember my username or password.
You need to create a NEW Pearson account. Your MyLabsPlus account will not let you access Modified Mastering in Blackboard.
It says I have a Pearson account with my email address, but when I clicked “Forgot Password”, I never got an email. *** MOST COMMONLY ASKED PROBLEM**
Please create a NEW Pearson account. You can use your same email address, but you will need a unique username. Simply click “close” when you are prompted that you may have an account and you will be able to continue creating your new account.
What is my CourseID? It is prompting me to put in a CourseID.
You do NOT need a Course ID to register for Modified Mastering or MyLab in Blackboard. Be sure you are starting in your Blackboard course to register. If at any point you are prompted for a Course ID, close out of your browser and restart your computer and clear your cookies and cache before trying to access again through Blackboard.
I’m trying to use the same code as my friend to register, and it won’t work for me.
Codes can only be used ONCE. You must use your own code to register or pay for access through your own account.
I was logged into my friend’s computer and now my Pearson account is linked to their Blackboard.
You must contact Tech Support to have your accounts unlinked. Only Support can unlink accounts. Visit support.pearson.com/getsupport to contact. Unlinking can take up to 48 hours to complete, and you and your friend cannot complete any work in Modified Mastering until the accounts are unlinked. Just like a toothbrush, don’t share Blackboad accounts.
I am also taking a class that uses Pearson’s Revel; can I use the same account to login to both?
Only if you register for Modified Mastering or MyLab before you register for Revel. If you registered for Revel, first, you will need to create a NEW account for your Mastering course. You can use the same email address and a unique username.
I’m seeing an error message when I try to get into my course through Blackboard.
The best place to start is clearing your browser cache and making sure you’re using Chrome or Firefox. If you continue to have issues, please contact Support at support.pearson.com/getsupport
