A few caveats:
These recordings were made during my time at my last employer, Start Early (I retired at the end of 2025). Although they were originally made for internal consumption, there is nothing proprietary to Start Early in the content.
I tried very hard to distinguish my own work and ideas from that of others that I covered in these videos. Each accompanying slide deck has a list of references at the end that provide links to more detailed information on that subject.
There are many KM-related topics out there, and I did not get to everything I wanted to record before I retired. If your favorite topic is missing, it's probably not because I'm not aware of it but rather that I just ran out of time. I don't intend to continue recording so what is here is all I've got.
If you are a KM expert, you will probably be able to easily nitpick some of these videos and argue that I missed something or got something wrong. These were intended to be short introductory videos to whet the appetite of employees unfamiliar with KM topics, so they necessarily had to be short and oversimplified (most are under 20 minutes). Just as when trying to explain electron orbitals, the theory of evolution, or the offsides rule in soccer, sometimes you have to follow the "all models are wrong but some are useful" approach. So I apologize in advance if a given topic missed some point you feel is crucial or mistaken. I tried my best!
