The students of Grade 3 celebrated Peanut Salad Day with great enthusiasm and joy on the 23rd of August 2025. The hall echoed with cheerful laughter and lively chatter as the children eagerly participated in this fun-filled activity that blended learning with healthy habits.
The young learners prepared a delicious and protein-rich peanut salad. The colorful mix included boiled peanuts, pomegranates, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, lemon juice, salt, pepper, chili powder, and a garnish of fresh coriander and mint leaves. This hands-on experience helped children understand the importance of including salads in their daily meals for a healthy lifestyle.
Teachers also demonstrated how to properly wash, peel, slice, and mix the ingredients, giving students a chance to learn valuable life skills while enjoying the process of making a nutritious dish from scratch.
The event beautifully highlighted teamwork and togetherness, as the children sat down to relish their freshly prepared salad with their classmates.
