Welcome to PE!

The children will focus on striking and fielding activities, developing their skills while learning the basic rules of games such as cricket and T-Ball. Lessons will encourage teamwork, spatial awareness, and decision-making as they apply their skills in game situations. Towards the end of the term the children will be working towards Sports Day where they will be practising a variety of different events that include running, jumping and throwing.

PE EXPECTATIONS

INFANTS - Children in Infants (Reception - Year 2) must wear full school uniform and bring PE kit in a bag.

PE kit can only be worn to school and uniform in a bag should your child’s lesson be scheduled before 10am (first break)

JUNIORS - Children must come to school on PE days in full school uniform with PE kit in a bag.

All children should bring a full water bottle to PE and hats on outdoor lessons.

Children with long hair must have it tied up and no jewellery must be worn.

The Royal Flight School is a proud member of the MPSL (Muscat Primary Sports League). Selected children in Year 3 - Year 6 are given the opportunity to experience sports in a friendly and competitive environment playing other schools in Muscat.
