A 3 Mile linear walk along the River Dove from Dovedale car park near Ilam to Milldale village. This is a scenic riverside walk with caves, rock formations, stepping stones, and some of the best scenery you can imagine, hills, cliffs. I can't stress enough how nice this walk is. There is a parking charge at the car park (£6 all day, less for 4 hours: 11/02/23) and on busy periods like weekends and bank holidays, get there early.
