Our Vision & Mission
Peachy Kids Home Daycare is a Christian based daycare. Our mission, "Play, Learn, Growth", reflects our dedication to quality developmental experiences for children. We firmly believe in supporting children’s natural curios and adventurous spirit.
At Peachy Kids Play & Learning House, we embrace the natural inclination of children to play, recognizing it as a fundamental aspect of their developmental growth. Through engaging, playful activities, we create a nurturing environment where curiosity and creativity flourish. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive space where children can explore, learn, and grow, developing essential cognitive, social, and emotional skills that lay the foundation for their future success. We are dedicated to fostering a love of learning and discovery, ensuring every child feels valued and inspired.
FAQs
What ages do you accept?
We care for children ages 6 weeks - 5 years old, providing age-appropriate learning and activities for each stage. Family Home Daycares are restricted to 5-6 children so availability varies. The state regulates how many infants and toddlers can be in attendance at one time due to student teacher ratio protocols. We're currently only enrolling ages 2yrs-5yrs.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are some weekends options - unfortunately this is on a case by case basis.
What makes your daycare Christian-based?
We incorporate Christian values through Bible stories, prayers, songs, and teaching moments that promote love, kindness, and respect. These elements are woven into our daily activities to help children grow spiritually and morally.
Will my child be required to participate in religious activities?
Yes, our program includes faith-based learning, but all activities are presented in a gentle, age-appropriate way. We respect each family’s faith journey and are happy to discuss specifics to ensure it aligns with your values.
What curriculum do you follow?
We do not have a set curriculum that we use. However, we follow the guidelines set by GELDS to structure our day and lesson plans for each child so they are engaged in developmentally appropriate activities. For students aged 3+, we incorporate Khan kids into our lessons.
We aim to ensure lessons are developmentally appropriate. For example ages 1-3 we focus on letters & number exposure and familiarity, not formal mastery.
Overall, our curriculum combines early childhood education principles with Christian teachings. We focus on cognitive, social, and emotional development, along with foundational Christian values.
Are meals and snacks provided?
Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks, with attention to any dietary restrictions. Meals are blessed with a short prayer, teaching gratitude and mindfulness.
How do you handle discipline?
We believe in positive reinforcement and guidance, teaching children to make kind and respectful choices. Discipline is handled in a loving, gentle manner, following principles of forgiveness, respect, and self-control.
How do you communicate with parents?
We provide daily updates through the 'Playground' app detailing activities, meals, and naps. I will send pictures and videos as I can. Additionally, we schedule regular check-ins to discuss your child’s progress.
Is your daycare licensed and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed, however, we do not have liability insurance. Our space is regularly inspected to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.
What safety measures do you have in place?
We maintain a safe, childproofed environment and practice emergency drills regularly. Our grounds is monitored by security cameras at all times and only authorized individuals are allowed during open hours. All staff are trained in CPR and first aid, and we adhere to strict cleaning protocols.
Does my child need to be vaccinated?
Yes, since we may have infants in our care and other children may be immunocompromised or have immunocompromised loved ones, we require all students be updated on their vaccines for the safety of everyone in our care. Unvaccinated individuals can become carriers, posing risks to others, particularly those who cannot be vaccinated (e.g., infants, the elderly, or immunocompromised individuals). Overall, we understand that vaccination may conflict with certain personal, philosophical, or religious principles. However, we believe the risks of remaining unvaccinated generally outweigh the perceived benefits, especially in the context of public health.

How do you incorporate play and learning?
We believe play is essential to learning, so our activities balance structured learning with free play. We use songs, crafts, games, and outdoor play to help children develop their skills joyfully.
Do you offer any flexibility in scheduling?
Depending on availability, we offer full-time, part-time, and drop-in options. Please contact us to discuss any specific scheduling needs.
Are there any additional fees?
Fees include registration and activity fee. Late fees may apply for tuition not paid on time. We aim to keep our fees transparent, so there are no unexpected charges.
How can I enroll my child?
To begin the enrollment process, please contact us for a tour and a meeting. We’ll provide an enrollment packet with all necessary information and forms to get started. You may schedule an appointment for an orientation tour.
We understand that our daycare might not hold the same believes as everyone. If we're not a fit you can utilize the GA Bright From The Start Website to find more quality care that aligns to your needs.
