Arc 8: Chapter 1
A pregnant Omega was very dependent on their Alpha and regularly needed soothing from the Alpha’s pheromones for hormonal stability.
Lin Yuan couldn’t help but be more clingy than usual. When Wei Feng went to work, he followed. Sometimes when Wei Feng was in a meeting for too long, Lin Yuan would uncontrollably cry being alone in the office.
Six months into Lin Yuan’s pregnancy, Wei Feng asked for leave and stayed at home with Lin Yuan. Their baby inherited Lin Yuan’s blonde hair and Wei Feng’s blue eyes, looking like a baby angel.
521 loved its new nephew and slept next to the baby every night.
When the baby was a year old, Lin Yuan and Wei Feng held their wedding. Their wedding ceremony was no less extravagant than the wedding of the previous emperor, and attracted even more attention. The whole process was blessed with congratulations and happiness.
Around half a year after they got married, the military received news of the location of the interstellar pirates and Wei Feng led the First Army to eradicate them.
Two years later, Wei Feng returned triumphantly, and the era of interstellar pirates was finally sealed in history.
Bai Cen, who was found still alive, had been reduced to someone almost completely unrecognizable.
Wei Feng whispered to Lin Yuan that Youhe had begged the interstellar pirates to save him. To the interstellar pirates, Youhe was part of the royal family and knew a lot of the empire’s important information, moreover, Youhe hated Wei Feng to the bone, and vice versa. Taking the risk to save Youhe was worthwhile if they could disgust Wei Feng. But as the villains, they would never do something purely to help. They saved Youhe on the condition that he would bring Bai Cen along with him.
It went without saying what a 3S level Omega would encounter in the midst of a group of interstellar pirates.
Bai Cen came back with mental trauma, psychological problems, and seriously damaged glands. After returning to the empire, he had to get his glands removed in order to continue to live.
The Bai family sent Bai Cen to a remote planet. In two years, Bai Cen’s psychological quality improved thanks to forgetting the past, and created a family with an ordinary Alpha on that planet.
When the interstellar pirates were eradicated, of course Youhe Hovis was caught too. He was again tried in the empire, and executed as an interstellar pirate and a villain. A foolish and cruel emperor reduced to an interstellar pirate, this was the life of Youhe Hovis.
On the day of Youhe’s execution, Lin Yuan was afraid that Wei Feng would remember the past and get depressed, so he bought a rabbit suit and revealed his rabbit ears and tail to coax his Alpha.
The imperial hero was in a good mood. After playing with his rabbit all night, Lin Yuan’s belly swelled, as if he was pregnant again.
Wei Feng, who tasted sweetness, learned to pretend to be down from time to time.
Lin Yuan could see through it, but his husband was so cute that he was willing to work hard for him.

Jiang City’s General Hospital.
Lin Yuan was sitting in the stairwell and shedding tears. His eyes had reddened and the tip of his nose was also red.
521 couldn’t even find words to comfort him. It silently patted Lin Yuan’s back.
After a while, Lin Yuan wiped his tears and asked in a hoarse voice: “521, what should I do?”
521 wasn’t sure. 521 didn’t know.
It said tentatively: “Why don’t we prepare for failing the task now?”
Lin Yuan was even more sad.
The target of this world was named Jin Ran, who was the adopted son of the Lin family.
The biological son of the Lin family was Lin Yuan, but he was kidnapped when he was only four years old.
After searching for two years with no results, Mother Lin was at the point of breaking down. In order to appease his wife, Father Lin adopted a child from an orphanage, which was Jin Ran.
Jin Ran grew up well in the Lin family, and Father and Mother Lin liked him very much.
When Jin Ran was 15 years old, the police managed to crack a case of human trafficking. From the records of the human traffickers, the Lin family found Lin Yuan.
Lin Yuan was sold to a mountain village and suffered a lot. He had many old wounds on his body, and he was thin as a skeleton.
When Lin Yuan returned to the Lin family, his heart had already twisted and darkened because of long-term abuse. He felt that Jin Ran had stolen his home and parents. When he starved in the mountains, Jin Ran lived in his house and enjoyed everything that should’ve belonged to him.
Therefore, Lin Yuan began to bully Jin Ran endlessly, wanting to use Jin Ran’s pain to pay back all of his suffering in the past eleven years.
Father and Mother Lin stood silent because of their guilt in losing Lin Yuan. But their indulgence only made Lin Yuan become more and more terrible.
The reason why they were in the hospital now was because Lin Yuan was racing with other rich young masters and dragged Jin Ran with him. Lin Yuan had forced Jin Ran to drive a racecar, knowing that Jin Ran had no experience. So Jin Ran got into a car accident, and now they were in the hospital.
In the world plot, this was the turning point for Jin Ran to become the ‘villain’. At first, when Lin Yuan was found, Jin Ran thought he would leave the Lin family after taking the college entrance exam, and go somewhere far away from Jiang City. He would work to pay his own bills, and also return the money that Father and Mother Lin spent on him.
Jin Ran endured Lin Yuan’s bullying for the past three years, but in the juncture of life and death, Jin Ran didn’t want to endure it anymore. Lin Yuan’s pain had nothing to do with him, why did he have to bear all the consequences?
He began to flatter and please Lin Yuan, like a tamed dog. Lin Yuan believed Jin Ran’s facade, and trusted him more and more.
When Jin Ran turned 23, he tricked Lin Yuan back into the mountains, which was Lin Yuan’s greatest nightmare. Furthermore, Jin Ran had poisoned Lin Yuan’s food for years, easily causing Lin Yuan to go crazy.
Father and Mother Lin didn’t doubt Jin Ran at all, and even asked Jin Ran to take care of Lin Yuan in the future. Father Lin taught Jin Ran his business acumen, and also offered him half of Lin corporation’s shares.
Jin Ran refused the shares, but still ‘took care’ of Lin Yuan. Every night, he talked to the crazy Lin Yuan about the mountain and Lin Yuan’s eleven years of suffering.
When Lin Yuan finished reading the plot, he was dumbfounded.
This was the first time he became the source of his lover’s pain.
Worst of all, the time he came was when Jin Ran had blackened, and the current blackening value was 88%.
If he came just a day earlier, his mission wouldn’t have been so hopeless. Now he was in hell mode.
Lin Yuan had a headache. He wanted to be good to Jin Ran, but if a bully suddenly changed his ways, then wouldn’t it only make Jin Ran wary that he was coming up with a new torture method?
Lin Yuan held his head and sat on the stairs until the windows darkened. Finally, Lin Yuan stood up and walked to Jin Ran’s ward.
The teenager lying on the hospital bed had sharp, refined features and pale skin. He looked like a porcelain figure that had been broken and pieced back together, but seeming as if he could fall apart at any moment.
Taking care of Jin Ran was an attendant from the Lin family. Seeing Lin Yuan come in, he glanced at Jin Ran with a little panic, probably because he was afraid this vicious young master would pull out Jin Ran’s oxygen tube.
Lin Yuan swaggered in like a spoiled young master. He looked at Jin Ran and snorted: “Not dead, right?”
The attendant nodded carefully: “The doctor said Young Master Ran was out of danger. He should wake up soon.”
Lin Yuan hummed. He told the servant coldly: “When he wakes up, tell me first.”
Back at Lin’s house, Father and Mother Lin didn’t berate him at all for the accident, and only told him not to go out and race again.
Lin Yuan nodded obediently and trudged up back to his room listlessly.
Because he was thinking all day, Lin Yuan hadn’t eaten at all. He woke up hungry in the middle of the night.
This body already had stomach problems because of malnourishment, so Lin Yuan’s hunger felt particularly painful. He got up from bed and went to the kitchen to make soup noodles.
As he ate, a tear silently rolled down his cheek. Lin Yuan let the tears fall and mechanically stuffed the noodles into his mouth.
At 8 o’clock in the morning, the attendant called to tell him that Jin Ran was awake.
Lin Ran really wanted to go to the hospital, but showing care would only backfire now. He waited for three days before he finally went.
Lin Yuan stood outside the ward and took a deep breath before going in.
Jin Ran’s face was more rosy than before, but his skin and lips were a little dry.
Seeing Lin Yuan, Jin Ran’s expression obviously darkened.
【Di! Please note that the villain’s blackening value has risen to 98%.】
Lin Yuan: QAQ
10% with one look, Jin Ran really hated him.
Lin Yuan pinched his fingers behind his back aggrievedly while he said disdainfully: “Mom and Dad told me to see you, but aren’t you all fine?”
Jin Ran’s voice was weak: “Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Oh.” Lin Yuan shut up. He had a lot to say to his husband, but nothing he could say to Jin Ran.
Sitting on the sofa, Lin Yuan took out his phone and started a game casually.
In the silence, Jin Ran felt strange, and so did the attendant in the room.
At noon, someone from the Lin family delivered a lunch box.
Seeing the box, the young master who had just been playing a game suddenly put down his phone and came over.
“What’s this?” Lin Yuan asked.
The attendant said that it was soup.
Lin Yuan’s brain turned and raised an eyebrow towards Jin Ran: “He can’t move now, are you going to feed him?”
The attendant nodded.
Lin Yuan smirked and said evilly: “I’ll do it.”
The attendant had a bad premonition. Did Young Master Lin want to spill the soup on Young Master Ran?
Jin Ran sneered his heart, and thought to himself that today’s soup was going to be wasted.
t/n hmm idk the author's point for this arc because if Jin Ran is the villain, then Lin Yuan is the protagonist?? but there's no mention of anyone being the protagonist gong/shou so this arc kinda just reads as a cliche dog-blood story... wish they could've written more about the babies instead TvT
