Arc 7: Chapter 29

What?!

Wei Feng and Bai Cen don’t have a lifetime mark?!

Everyone on the sidelines of the court had all assumed this case would just be another three-person love story where the husband ignored his wife at home and loved a mistress outside, finally abandoning his family and wife for his mistress.

But now it seemed things weren’t as simple as they thought, and the desire to listen burned even more.

The lawyer continued: “Six years ago, Mr. Wei Feng and Mr. Bai Cen were officially married, but on the day of their wedding, a large-scale invasion of alien beasts occurred along the border. Mr. Wei Feng commanded the First Army and the Fifth Army to the border to fight against the alien beasts.”

“The conflict lasted for five years, during which Mr. Wei Feng sustained significant trauma—his glands were damaged, leading to irregular susceptibility period and unstable spiritual power. Upon his return to the capital a year ago, he urgently needed his Omega’s support to stabilize his condition. However, Mr. Bai Cen refused. In doing so, Mr. Bai Cen neglected his marital obligations as defined under the Empire’s legal standards governing Alpha-Omega unions.”

After listening, everyone felt that Bai Cen was really unkind. Bai Cen was the one who requested marriage, but after Wei Feng was injured, he refused to fulfill his martial obligations. No wonder the Kristaux family was looking for high-quality Omega all the time. They had thought that Wei Feng’s spiritual power was too much for Bai Cen to handle, but unexpectedly, the truth was like this.

On the other side of the court, Bai Cen’s expression was one of disbelief. He thought Wei Feng would simply accuse him of cheating with another Alpha. Maybe he wouldn’t directly say it was with Youhe in order to protect the royal family’s reputation, but there was no reason to not say it.

Ever since Wei Feng submitted the divorce application, Bai Cen had been anxious and terrified. The attitude of the public towards Lin Yuan was already bad enough, if they knew about his adultery, then he couldn’t imagine how many people would curse him.

But throughout the entire trial, Wei Feng didn’t mention his cheating at all.

The lawyer continued: “Given these circumstances, the Kristaux family had been looking for an Omega to sooth the Mr. Wei Feng’s spiritual power. It was Mr. Lin Yuan who helped the Marshal. Following Mr. Lin Yuan’s second awakening, medical documents show that his pheromone match with the marshal reached 100%, a scientifically recognized perfect match.”

Wei Feng’s side described everything very clearly, and Bai Cen had nothing to say.

In the end, because Wei Feng and Bai Cen didn’t have a lifetime mark, and evidence showed that Bai Cen didn’t fulfill any marital obligations, the judges and jurors favored Wei Feng and his divorce application was approved.

On the afternoon of the same day, the StarNet account of the Imperial Court uploaded a video related to the divorce trial.

After the video came out, netizens on the StarNet began to apologize for scolding Lin Yuan before, and more condemnation of Bai Cen began to appear.

Before the scolding could accumulate, a statement was posted that said Wei Feng was terribly violent when his spiritual power went out of control, and Lin Yuan was the only Omega able to appease him because of their 100% pheromone match. Many netizens believed this statement and began to sympathize with Bai Cen, and their comments began to say that this divorce was the best for both parties.

Looking at the comments on StarNet, Lin Qian’s sight went black with anger: “My A’yuan was scolded until today but Bai Cen was only scolded for an hour?! Can these netizens use their brains?”

He glared at Wei Feng: “Marshal, why didn’t you expose Bai Cen’s cheating in court? Are you reluctant, still have feelings for your old flame?”

Before Wei Feng could say anything, Lin Yuan blocked his man with his body: “Brother, don’t talk nonsense. Wei Feng doesn’t have any feelings for Bai Cen at all. He only likes me.”

Lin Qian snorted and said ruthlessly: “Lin Yuan, say one more word and you’re going back home with me today.”

Lin Yuan hummed aggrievedly and buried his face in Wei Feng’s neck and whispered: “Bad Brother…”

With an Alpha’s good hearing, Lin Qian asked coldly: “A’yuan, what did you just say? Did you say I’m a bad brother?”

Lin Yuan quickly shook his head and said pitifully: “No, I didn't say that, I… I called Wei Feng.”

He raised his head and kissed Wei Feng’s chin: “Wei Feng, I want to get married as soon as possible. Can you come to my house tomorrow? I want to call you husband.”

Lin Qian: …

Wei Feng smiled helplessly and patted Lin Yuan’s back gently. He said to Lin Qian: “I don’t have any feelings for Bai Cen. If the fact that he had an affair was spread out, the royal family would never accept him.”

“We already know His Majesty would stop at nothing to make his beloved Omega the queen of the empire. I don’t want another war, so I helped them a little.”

For some reason, although Wei Feng was speaking normally, Lin Qian felt a chill run down his back. He asked: “Marshal, you’re really going to just let them go?”

Wei Feng raised an eyebrow and said after a meaningful silence: “I’m looking forward to the wedding between His Majesty and Bai Cen.”

Lin Qian vaguely understood and didn’t ask anymore.

Before leaving, Lin Qian rubbed Lin Yuan’s hair and said: “A’yuan, you don’t have to go home. Grandpa, Dad, and Mom will help you solve everything. But you still have to go to school.”

Lin Yuan almost forgot he was a student at Imperial University.

For the first time, Wei Feng personally dropped him off and walked him to the gate of his dorm.

Lin Yuan clung to the Alpha and didn’t want to let go. He said reluctantly: “I don’t want to go to school.”

Wei Feng’s eyes practically dripped honey and he took a deep breath to restrain himself from kissing the youth’s cute and beautiful face.

“Wait a few more days. When my house next to the school is ready, we can move in together.”

Lin Yuan felt like he could still hold on for a few days. He rubbed against Wei Feng’s face and said energetically: “Okay.”

In the next two years, the students at the Imperial University witnessed the empire’s hero pick up Lin Yuan every day, and sometimes stumbled upon the scene of them walking hand in hand around campus.

Whenever Wei Feng’s spiritual power went out of control, Lin Yuan’s strong spiritual power directly entangled it. Rather than soother the spirit, it was more like a fight between beasts.

The desire to conquer burned even fiercer against the other’s strong spiritual power, and Wei Feng always couldn’t control himself and plundered Lin Yuan wantonly.

At the end of every deed, Wei Feng’s spiritual power calmed down like it had been tamed. The mad beast surrendered to its beloved white rabbit.

One day, the royal family announced that His Majesty was getting married. When people knew that the future queen was the Marshal’s ex-wife, a group of people felt that Bai Cen’s character was not good enough to be a leader of the empire. Another group of people supported this marriage, thinking Bai Cen’s 3S level was worthy enough to be queen.

On the day of the wedding, Lin Yuan and Wei Feng arrived at the ceremony.

No one had any questions about their relationship anymore, after all, there was an unending showcase of love and their legendary perfect match, except for one thing. Why didn’t they get married yet?

Lin Yuan had mentioned marriage more than a dozen times, but every time, Wei Feng only kissed him and took off his clothes, saying it wasn’t urgent.

In fact, Lin Yuan wasn’t in a hurry. He felt like the anxious one was Wei Feng.

Every month during his heat, Wei Feng wanted to enter his reproductive cavity but held back. He grinded hard against the opening but never went inside, obviously, he was worried about making a lifelong mark.

After they sat down, Wei Feng played with Lin Yuan’s blonde hair casually, and his blue eyes were a little bloodshot and unfocused.

Lin Yuan held his hand and kissed him on the lips: “Wei Feng, the day you’re looking forward to has finally come. Does your scar still hurt?”

Wei Feng quietly tightened his grip: “With you by my side, it hasn’t hurt in the past two years.”
