Mandela was the most quoted as a peace-fighter for french people. Then you had Gandhi but also Martin Luther King. French personalities also appeared such as Charles de Gaulles, Jean Jaures. It is also interesting to highlight that only two women figures were chosen and that only women thought about women as peace-fighter, such as Simone Veil who fought for women rights during the seventies in order to legalize abortion and contraception in France.
