Growing up, my family moved from time to time as my father established a truck equipment distributorship. Settling in California, I worked my way through college learning equally from my business classes and at my dad's side. After graduation, I spent a year in retail management before returning to our company, eventually becoming the Controller. We grew from $2M to $6M, opened two branches, won government contracts, upgraded facilities, and implemented an industry-specific accounting system during my tenure.
My more recent work experience had me in the CFO seat for a service-based company. There, I refined skills like business valuation, M&A, payroll and tax management in multiple states, HR best practices, cash flow projections, and financial analysis based on large data sets.
That company was acquired by a foreign entity; I handled all the due diligence for the transaction, as well as intense change management as we learned their systems, implemented SAP, and pivoted to new SaaS and hardware offerings. The group went public on the ASX, and my role became financial planning and analysis for the US. While I learned many new skills, I missed the excitement and connection that comes from working with small businesses and their creative leaders.

I am now available to put my years of experience to use as a fractional CFO. Optimizing resources is at the heart of every financial professional, and I am drawn to the elegance of the solution: when you are a growing business, you need expert advice, but you may not have a full-time need (or budget). That is where a virtual CFO can provide valuable partnership.
There are many agencies out there providing this service ... but why pay their premium? Engaging with me directly is the best use of my time and your resources. The initial consultation is free, and with a money-back guarantee, the risk of not working with me far outweighs reaching out today to see how I can help you grow. Let's get going!
