Hoops For Peace Tournament 

Hoops For Peace was established in 2026 to support the Newberg Rotary Peace Club and its mission of advocating for peace, unity, and positive community engagement through meaningful action. More than just a basketball tournament, Hoops For Peace is designed to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together through the universal language of sports, creating an atmosphere centered on connection, encouragement, mentorship, and hope.

The tournament exists to inspire the next generation by promoting teamwork, leadership, respect, and healthy competition while strengthening relationships within the community. Through friendly competition, local partnerships, and community involvement, Hoops For Peace seeks to create opportunities for young people and families to experience belonging, build positive relationships, and celebrate what can happen when a community comes together with purpose.
