The Hutch Bonspiel

The “Hutch” Spiel is a fun spiel, named for Elmer Hutchinson, a member of the Peace Arch Curling Club in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. He and Jim MacNeil decided there needed to be a Bonspiel after Christmas that would provide exercise for everyone during the week of festivities and offer a change from a diet of turkey etc. The event, organized by the Senators, is open to all members of the Club and their friends and family.
