The 100 Team

Connect. Converse. Create. Capsule.

The Team
Below are all of our team that will be involved in implementation of the project, be that creation of the book or facilitation of workshops. We have chosen women who inspire, challenge and encourage us to be our best. You're in good hands.

Charo Lanao.
I am Charo Lanao and I want to share with you who I am and what matters to me. I am a change agent with a vision of a world where people love who they are and realise that we need to be the change we want to see in the world. I have a vision of a world where people have the skills and competence to value and respect each other, a world which is full of empathy and solidarity. I have a vision of a world in which we recognize our interdependence with each other and between people and nature. I have a vision where individually and collectively, we could all take care of our ‘Pachamama’ our Mother Earth.

Cony Ortiz
I am an intercultural visual arts facilitator from Colombia. At 25 I found myself halfway across the world in mid 1980s Belfast. In the early 90’s, I took part on a Multi-Cultural food festival and this opened new opportunities: I became a volunteer for the Multi-Cultural Resource Centre (MCRC), back then, and participated in different community development trainings. My passion grew for participating in more grassroots projects, such as becoming a cultural awareness facilitator and then training in intercultural competences and conflict management. I began to hone my practice as an intercultural artist using various art forms as a way to broach and encourage discussion, dialogue and healing. In particular running workshops that aimed to connect local and foreign women and communities alike through dance and visual arts in health and wellbeing focused projects. These past experiences have been given me an invaluable first- hand view into the diverse, unique stories that make up our community. Through my work I have come to appreciate both the stories that define communities and discover those that bring them closer together. I love what I do and have learned so much from different wonderful women, and I continue to learn.

Orla Hasson
Orla Hasson is a Systemic Coach and Change Facilitator. Hailing from Derry she currently cultivates life, learning and love, through Zoom, and in person, from her home in the Basque Country. She uses community arts and systemic practices to aid people and organisations to explore and articulate the identities they truly wish to create, whilst doing the same evolutionary work on herself and her partner Paco.

Tessa Ann
The Sound Healing Spa was founded by Tessa Ann in 2013. Since then, she and her team have delivered a range of therapeutic sound experiences, workshops, training and events to individuals, groups, businesses, and corporate organisations. Tessa has always been involved in sound and music. From a highly successful DJ career to establishing Beat n Track Studio & Music Education Centre, to organising events for major festivals. Her latest work with therapeutic sound combines her music production and performance skills to bring the concept of therapeutic sound into new arenas.

Wilhelmina Peace

Wilhelmina is a prolific visual artist who works primarily with paper and textile in the field of Printmaking and Book Arts. In addition to her formal training as an artist printmaker, Wilhelmina holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology from Queens University Belfast. She fuses her knowledge in anthropology with her training as a fine artist through extensive work with community groups and in particular, women's groups in Northern Ireland. Her most recent work has included art workshops with youth groups in North Belfast for International Women's Day and workshops with refugee women from Homeplus NI's SAWA group. Wilhelmina will create the concept, design and execution of the book as a unique work of art, ready to be passed on from woman to woman to receive their individual artworks. She has planned to work exclusively with ethically sourced local material to create the book design. Her technical mastery of media such as screen-printing on textile and paper as well as intaglio printmaking, paper sculpture, embossing, debossing and collage will form the basis for the creation of the book.
Wilhelmina has planned to use high grade archival material that will live on well after the century passes and the capsule is opened
