ViVoce will hold auditions in September / October for our fall-winter season. ViVoce, a women’s a cappella singing group, performs folk and classical choral material, giving voice to diverse cultural experiences through song and story.

Members of ViVoce are experienced singers with good musicianship (sing a part independently and read music reasonably well). We enjoy singing together and aiming for musical excellence. We rehearse Monday evenings, beginning Monday 10/8/2013.

Bravo! Northwest Chorale seeks excellent vocalists who have a passion for singing and a love for great music. Our Chorale members range in experience from accomplished amateurs to trained professional singers. The Bravo! Chorale typically sings on three concert programs a season with the Washington Chamber Orchestra, performing in both Portland and Vancouver.

Chorale members should have past experience as a singer or instrumentalist and some music reading skills. To audition, please prepare a short solo piece of your choosing – that best shows your vocal quality. This could be an art song, aria, hymn, folk, or pop song. An accompanist will be provided. At your audition, you will be asked to vocalize, and to sight read two-three simple standard choral excerpts.
