We are a research group dedicated to the development of innovative complexes for therapeutic applications, with a particular emphasis on photodynamic therapy, chemotherapy, and theragnosis. Our main focus revolves around designing novel luminescent metallodrugs incorporating Ir(III), Pt(IV/II), and Re(I) elements within easily derivable organic scaffolds. Our objective is to enhance cancer selectivity, drug efficiency while inactivating the cancer cells that escape treatment.
