The first version of Pdro was created by Andre on February 6, 2020, as a "birthday gift" for Pedro. Then, they further developed the logo and digitalized it into the version above. The logo is entirely inspired by tennis, one of the simplest yet most complex sports, as it is very challenging to master even though it simply consists of hitting one more ball than the opponent. Pdro aims to represent the simplicity and intricacy of tennis. The drawing spells the name "Pedro" with only four letters since, in Portuguese, the letter "P" is pronounced in a way that includes the "e"-sound perfectly. Even so, it has significant meaning, with the "Pd" representing two rackets, the "r" being the lines of a clay court and the "o" a tennis ball whose white strip forms the letter "n" for Nachbin. Lastly, all of these components—two rackets, one ball, and the lines with a net—comprise the essential equipment necessary for a game of tennis.
