In 2005, Pennsbury Drama Parents established a scholarship fund for seniors planning to study theater in college. Since that time, the PDP has paid over $5000 in scholarships. The first recipients of these scholarships were Lisa Mindelle and Whit Leyenberger.

In 2010, the name of the scholarship changed and "The Joanne Levin Memorial Scholarship" was established in honor of Joanne Levin, the President of the 2009-2010 Pennsbury Drama Parents who passed away in 2010. Joanne's dedication to Pennsbury Drama, her son Marc, and all his fellow thespians lives on through each of this scholarship's recipients who, as members of Troupe 830, demonstrate excellence and passion in their pursuit and love of theater.
