Our Party Constitution

ARTICLE I Name of Party

1. The name of the Party shall be the Parti Demokratik Malaysia, hereinafter called "the Party".

2. The Party shall be known in english as the Democratic Party of Malaysia.

ARTICLE II Party Colours and Emblem

1. The colours of the party shall be blue and white.

2. The emblem of the Party shall be represented by a Hibiscus.

ARTICLE III Party Objectives

The Party shall be dedicated to the service of Malaysia and strive by parliamentary constitutional means to advance the well-being of our people. The Party's objectives shall be:

(a) To preserve, protect and defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Malaysia.

(b) To safeguard the freedom and advance the well-being of all Malaysians through a representative and democratic government.

(c) To forge a common identity of a united Malaysian Malaysia through the promotion of national spirit and unity of all Malaysians regardless of race, language or religion.

(d) To grow, strengthen and nurture an economy that is vibrant, through a sustainable way, which creates good jobs and enables every Malaysian to reach their full potential.

(e) To build a fair and just society where every Malaysian has their fair share of opportunities, while encouraging individual effort and hard work.

(f) To represent and serve all Malaysians with courage, resolve, leadership, responsibility and integrity, ready to attend to concerns, and providing good governance for Malaysia.

ARTICLE IV Membership

Any citizen of Malaysia who undertakes to comply with this Constitution and conditions of membership, who is not a member of any other political party, shall be eligible to be a member of the Party.

ARTICLE V Conditions of Membership

(a) Every member shall be loyal to Malaysia and shall uphold the Federal Constitution.

(b) Every member must accept and conform to the constitution, programmes, principles and policy of the Party.

(c) Application for membership shall be made in the appropriate channel in the discord server of the Party, and shall be considered by the Internal Affairs Department.

ARTICLE VI Party Leadership Council

1. The Party Leadership Council shall consist of:

i. a Chairman; and

ii. a Deputy Chairman; and

iii. a Secretary-General; and

iv. five other members.

ARTICLE VIII Founding Members

Founding members of the Party shall be Arifafeef and Alif14Irfan.

ARTICLE X Amendment of the Constitution

1. The constitution shall only be amended only by a two-thirds majority of the Party Leadership Council at a meeting, and as soon as possible, be presented to the Registrar of Societies.

2. Any amendment to the constitution may only come into force with the approval of the Registrar of Societies.
