privacy policy for app Pdf Wala: Scanner & PDF Tools
Privacy Policy for Pdf Wala: Scanner & PDF Tools
explains what data the app accesses and why.
1. PERMISSIONS
- Camera: used only to let you scan documents and ID cards. Photos are
processed and saved directly to your device; we do not access your
camera for any other purpose.
- Internet & Network State: used solely to load advertisements (see
"Advertising" below) and are not used to transmit your documents,
photos, or scans anywhere.
2. YOUR DOCUMENTS AND PHOTOS
All documents, scans, and PDFs you create with this app are stored locally
on your device, in the app's own storage folder. We do not upload, access,
transmit, or have any ability to view your documents, scans, photos, or
PDFs. Nothing you scan or create in this app is sent to us or to any
server we control.
3. ADVERTISING
This app displays ads served by Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms,
Inc.). Meta may collect certain data (such as device identifiers and
usage data) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with their own
privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
We do not control what data Meta's SDK collects; please refer to Meta's
policy for details on their data practices.
4. DATA WE COLLECT DIRECTLY
We (the developer of Pdf Wala) do not operate any backend server, do not
collect analytics, and do not collect or store any personal data from you
directly. The only data collection on this app comes from the third-party
advertising SDK described above.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect data from children.
6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here
with an updated "Last updated" date.

**You must fill in [15-09-2026], [poojakumariastrologers@gmail.com], and host this text at a public
URL** (Play Console requires a working link, not just the text) before
Play Console will let you submit the app.
## Play Store safety checklist
Things that are already in good shape:
✅ Minimal permissions (Camera, Internet, Network State only)
✅ No suspicious/broad permissions (no contacts, location, SMS, etc.)
✅ Ads SDK (Meta Audience Network) is a standard, Play-approved network
✅ App doesn't collect or transmit user documents anywhere
Things YOU still need to do before/during submission (I can't do these —
they require your Play Console account and real-world verification):
⬜ Host the privacy policy at a public URL and add the link in Play Console
⬜ Fill out Play Console's "Data Safety" form — based on what's above,
you'll declare: Camera permission (not shared, on-device use only),
and disclose that the app shows ads (third-party SDK: Meta Audience
Network) which may collect device/advertising identifiers
⬜ Meta Audience Network account must be approved and out of test/dev
mode before real ads will serve to real users
⬜ Take real screenshots from your own build for the store listing (2-8
required, phone + optionally tablet)
⬜ Provide a feature graphic (1024×500) and app icon (512×512) per Play's
asset specs
⬜ Target API level requirement — Play currently requires targeting a
recent Android API level for new apps/updates; double check the
current requirement in Play Console when you submit, since it changes
periodically
⬜ Content rating questionnaire (should come back as "Everyone" given
this app's functionality)
