1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

Our App is designed to provide comprehensive tools to view, edit, convert, and manage PDF documents directly on your device.
To provide its core features, certain device permissions are required.
A. Storage and Media Access (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_*)
Why we need it:
The App requests storage and media permissions to allow you to select images, documents, and existing PDFs from your device in order to convert, edit, merge, or compress them. It is also required to save the modified PDFs back to your device storage.
How we use it:
Files are accessed and processed entirely locally on your device.
What we do NOT do:
We do not read files or folders unrelated to the tasks you initiate.
We do not upload, store, or transmit your personal documents, images, or PDFs to our servers or any third parties.
B. Camera Access (CAMERA)
Why we need it:
The App requests Camera permission exclusively to power the Document Scanner and ID Card Scanner features, allowing you to digitize physical documents into PDFs.
How we use it:
The camera captures images that are processed locally on your device to enhance the document and convert it into a PDF format.
What we do NOT do:
We do not record video in the background.
We do not transmit your camera feed or scanned photos to our servers or any third parties.
C. Biometric Security (USE_BIOMETRIC)
Why we need it:
The App requests Biometric permission to allow you to securely lock and unlock your private PDF files using your device's fingerprint or face unlock capabilities.
How we use it:
Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's secure hardware operating system.
What we do NOT do:
We do not collect, read, store, or transmit your fingerprint, face data, or device PIN.
D. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics
PDF Tool is a premium, ad-free application.
We do not use third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) and we do not collect or share your device data, usage information, or advertising IDs with external advertisers.

2. Data Storage and Security

Our App does not require users to create an account.
We do not collect or store personal identifiers such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
All of your files, application settings, and security PINs are stored securely and locally on your device.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

3. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
