1. Information We Collect
PDF Scanner: Scan And Convert ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. The App is primarily designed to
scan, convert, edit, and manage documents on your device.
The App may access images or documents that you choose to scan or import. Your scanned documents, images,
and generated PDF files are processed and stored locally on your device.
We do not upload, store, or process your scanned documents or PDF files on our servers. We do not use
your documents for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.
The App may request access to your device camera so that you can scan documents, ID cards, books, ID photos,
and capture images for conversion to PDF. Camera access is used only when you choose to use the
scanning/camera functionality. The App does not continuously access or record your camera in the background.
3. Photos and Gallery Permission
The App may request access to photos or media on your device so that you can select images and convert them
into PDF documents. Only content that you choose to access or import is used by the App. Your imported images
and generated PDFs remain on your device.
4. PDF Files and Local Storage
The App allows you to create and manage PDF files. Generated PDF files are stored locally on your device
according to Android's storage mechanisms. We do not upload your PDF files to our servers. If you share a PDF
using Android's sharing functionality, the file is transferred according to the application or service you choose.
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including Google Mobile
Ads/AdMob and AppLovin. These providers may automatically collect information such as advertising identifiers,
device information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, advertisement interaction
information, and app/usage information. This information may be used to provide, measure, personalize, and
improve advertising, subject to the providers' policies and applicable laws.
Your scanned documents, images, and generated PDF files are not provided to advertising providers by our App.
The App may use an Internet connection for displaying advertisements, communicating with third-party advertising
services, and supporting certain app functionality. Internet access does not mean that your scanned documents or
PDFs are uploaded to our servers.
7. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not intentionally collect or store on our servers scanned documents, generated PDF files, imported personal
images, camera-captured documents, ID card images, or book scans. These files remain on your device unless
you explicitly choose to share them using another application or service.
The App may use third-party services such as advertising SDKs, including Google Mobile Ads/AdMob and
AppLovin. These services may process certain technical information according to their own privacy policies.
Because scanned documents and generated PDFs are stored locally on your device, their security also depends
on your device's security settings. We recommend using appropriate device security measures such as a screen
lock, PIN, password, or biometric authentication.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
We do not maintain copies of your scanned documents or PDFs on our servers. You can delete documents and
PDF files using the App or your device's storage management. Uninstalling the App may also remove locally stored
App data, depending on your Android device and storage configuration.
The App is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
through our servers. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact
us so that appropriate action can be taken.
You can manage permissions granted to the App through your Android device settings. Depending on the features
you use, the App may request permissions related to Camera, Photos/Media, and Notifications. If you deny a
permission, the corresponding functionality may not be available.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date
at the top of this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
