PDF Bro ("we", "our", or "us") operates the PDF Bro mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use our Service.
By downloading, installing, or using PDF Bro, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the Service.

1. Information Collection and Use
PDF Bro is primarily an offline PDF utility application. We do not require user registration and do not collect personally identifiable information unless explicitly stated in this policy.
1.1 Personal Information
PDF Bro does not request, collect, or store personal information such as name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location.
All documents, images, scans, and PDFs created or modified using the app remain stored locally on your device. PDF Bro does not upload, read, or access your files outside the app's functionality.
1.2 Camera and Photo Library
PDF Bro asks for access to your camera so you can scan documents, books, ID cards, passports, business cards, and QR codes, and for access to your photo library so you can convert existing images into PDFs.
* These permissions are used only when you start a scan or select a photo.
* Camera images and selected photos are processed on your device and saved as files inside the app.
* We do not upload camera images or photos to any server, and we do not use them for analytics or advertising.
* You can revoke either permission at any time in your device settings.
1.3 Documents and Sensitive Content
You may scan documents that contain sensitive information, such as identity cards, passports, contracts, or financial records.
* These files are stored on your device, inside the app, and are not transmitted to us.
* We never read, index, or analyze the content of your documents.
* Files you share, print, or send from the app are handled by the app or service you choose, under that provider's own privacy policy.
* Files stored on your device may be included in your own device or iCloud backups, which are controlled by you and by Apple.
1.4 In-App Purchases (iOS)
PDF Bro offers optional paid features through Apple In-App Purchases.
* Payments are processed securely by Apple through your Apple Account.
* PDF Bro does not receive or store payment or billing information.
* Apple may share limited, non-personal purchase-related data with us, such as confirmation of purchase, subscription status, trial usage, and refund information, strictly for service management and compliance.
* Refunds are governed solely by Apple's App Store policies.
Use of In-App Purchases is additionally governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA) and Apple's standard terms.
1.5 Analytics & Log Data
To improve stability and performance, PDF Bro may use third-party tools such as Google Firebase for anonymized analytics and crash reporting.
In the event of an error or crash, log data may be collected automatically, including:
* Device model
* Operating system version
* App version
* Time and date of usage
* General usage statistics
This data is anonymous, used only for diagnostics and service improvement, and cannot be used to identify individual users. Firebase processes this data under Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
1.6 Push Notifications
PDF Bro may send push notifications related to app updates, feature changes, or important service information.
* Push notifications are optional.
* You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
* Notifications are not used for advertising or behavioral tracking.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
PDF Bro itself does not use cookies or web-based tracking technologies.
Any third-party SDKs integrated for analytics or crash reporting operate under their own privacy standards and are limited to non-personal data required for app functionality.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use your data for targeted advertising.
3. End User License Agreement (EULA)
Access to premium features via In-App Purchases is subject to PDF Bro's End User License Agreement (EULA), which defines:
* License scope
* Subscription terms
* Payment, renewal, and cancellation rules
* Usage restrictions
* Limitation of liability
In case of conflict, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement shall prevail.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
* Your documents stay on your device until you delete them in the app or delete the app itself.
* Deleting a file in the app removes it from the app's storage; copies you have shared or saved elsewhere are not affected.
* Uninstalling PDF Bro removes the app's files from your device.
* Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase for the periods set out in Google's documentation, and are not linked to you.
5. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information processed by the app.
However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. While we strive to protect data, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. Children's Privacy
PDF Bro is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.
For regions requiring a higher minimum age (such as 16 under GDPR), we comply with applicable laws.
7. International Users & GDPR Compliance
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other regions with data protection regulations:
* Data is processed only when legally permitted (consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, or legal obligation).
* You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and to request a copy of it in a portable format.
* You may withdraw consent at any time.
* You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
* Because your documents remain on your device, most data subject requests can be fulfilled by you directly, through the app or your device settings.
