In short: your photos, scans and PDFs are processed on your device. The app has no account, does not upload your documents and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

Photos and camera images you choose to convert or scan, and the PDF files you open or create. They are read and written only on your device to provide the features you use (convert, scan, read, sign, merge, split, compress, password protect).
Settings such as theme, default page size and save folder, stored locally on your device.
If the app closes unexpectedly, a crash report is kept on your device and shown to you on next launch. It is sent to us only if you choose to copy and send it.
We do not collect, store on servers, sell or share this information. The app does not require an account.
Camera – to scan documents, only while the scanner is open.
Photos and videos – to let you pick images to convert to PDF.
All files access (optional) – to list PDFs already on your device and save files to the folder you choose. You can decline and still pick files manually.
Network state – only to show whether you are offline. The app's document features work without internet.
Camera scanning uses the Google ML Kit Document Scanner, provided through Google Play services. Image processing is performed on your device. Google Play services may download the scanner component the first time you use it and may process limited technical data under Google's Privacy Policy.
When you share or print a PDF, the file is handed to the app or printer you select, and that service's own privacy policy applies.
Files you create stay in the folder you chose (by default Documents/PDF Reader Pro) until you delete them. Temporary working files are removed automatically. Uninstalling the app deletes its settings and temporary files; your saved PDFs remain in your storage.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your documents are not uploaded, they stay protected by your device's own security. Password-protected PDFs use standard PDF encryption.
We may update this policy when the app changes (for example if ads are added in the future). The "Last updated" date above will change and significant updates will be noted in the app's release notes.
