3.1 Automated Data Collection

When you access the PDF Reader: PDF Viewer, Editor app, your device automatically sends data for technical reasons. This data is stored separately from any other data you may provide to us, including:

• Browser type/version

• Operating system used

• URL of the previously visited website

• IP address (truncated by one octet)

This data is stored for technical purposes only and is not associated with any specific individual.

3.2 Support Requests

If you contact our support team, we collect and store the personal data you provide to process your request. You are not required to provide personal data and may contact us using a pseudonym.

We store support requests for 120 days after completion to ensure proper resolution and assist with any future issues.

Processing is carried out to fulfill your request and ensure proper operation of the app (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

For general inquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to emails (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. AI-Powered Features and Data Processing

Our app provides AI-powered features, including AI OCR, AI Summary, and AI Translate, to help users extract text from documents, summarize document content, and translate text into other languages.

4.1 How AI Processes Your Information

When you use AI-powered features, relevant document content or text may be transmitted to our servers or third-party AI service providers for cloud-based processing, depending on the feature you select.

• AI OCR: Processes supported documents stored on your device to extract text.

• AI Summary: Summarizes document content based on your instructions.

• AI Translate: Translates submitted text or document content into your selected language.

We process and share only the content reasonably necessary to provide the AI feature you request. Where third-party service providers are involved, they process the submitted content as necessary to deliver the requested results, subject to the applicable service terms and data protection practices.

4.2 AI Data Storage and Retention

Content submitted through AI features is processed to provide the requested functionality. Depending on the technical implementation and the applicable service provider's policies, submitted content and generated results may be temporarily stored to complete processing or maintain the service.

We retain information associated with AI features only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable legal requirements. The applicable policies and service terms of third-party service providers govern any deletion or retention of data by those providers.

4.3 Disclaimer on AI-Generated Content

AI-generated outputs are produced by probabilistic models and may not always be accurate, complete, or contextually appropriate. Results should be reviewed carefully and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. We disclaim any liability for decisions or consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated content.

We use “cookies” to ensure full functionality and improve user experience. You may disable cookies in browser settings, but some app features may not work properly.

• Google Ads cookies (ad performance measurement)

These cookies do not personally identify you.
