everydaylabs ("we", "us") built PDF Kit — Convert & Compress as a free app with an optional ad-free in-app purchase. This page explains what data is and isn't handled when you use it.
PDF Kit works fully offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics of our own. Every file you convert, merge, split or compress is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
The images and PDFs you choose are read, converted and saved locally on your device only. They are never sent to us or any third party. When you tap "Save to Photos" or use Share, the file is written to the location or app you pick — that action stays entirely under your control.
The app saves the following locally; it never leaves your phone and is deleted when you remove the app:
A "Recent files" list of items you've produced (names, sizes, dates)
Your settings (dark mode, ad-removal status)
Camera — used only if you choose to take a photo to convert. The photo stays on your device.
Photos / storage — used only to let you pick files to convert and to save results back to your gallery (on Android 9 and below). On newer Android versions no storage permission is required.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To provide ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process device and usage data (for example a device advertising identifier, general location inferred from IP, and ad interaction data) in accordance with Google's own policies. This processing is performed by Google, not by us.
If you purchase Remove Ads, the advertising SDK is disabled and no ads are requested.
The one-time "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details; Google handles the transaction. The app only stores a local flag indicating the purchase is active.
PDF Kit is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. Ads are configured to request appropriate content where required.

Reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalisation in your device's Google settings.
Delete all local data any time by clearing recent files or uninstalling the app.
We may update this policy; changes will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
