PDF Expert Lite (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting user data worldwide.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only limited information necessary for app functionality, including:
Purchase records from Apple StoreKit
Basic diagnostic and crash information
Optional iCloud sync data enabled by the user
App settings and preferences stored locally on-device
We do NOT collect:
Names
Email addresses
Contacts
Location data
Photos outside user-selected imports
Health information
Advertising identifiers
We do not sell or rent user data to third parties.
DOCUMENTS & PDF FILES
All PDFs, scans, signatures, annotations, and edits are processed directly on your device.
Your files remain under your control unless you choose to share or upload them using third-party services such as iCloud Drive.
We do not access, monitor, or store your documents on our servers.
CAMERA, PHOTO LIBRARY & FACE ID ACCESS
The app may request permission for:
Camera access (to scan paper documents)
Photo Library access (to import or save PDFs/images)
Face ID or Touch ID (for optional App Lock)
Permissions are requested only when needed and can be changed anytime in device Settings.
OCR & DOCUMENT PROCESSING
OCR text recognition and PDF processing are performed locally on-device whenever possible. Documents are not uploaded for processing.
ICLOUD SYNC
If enabled by the user, PDFs and related app data may sync securely through Apple iCloud services. iCloud functionality is controlled entirely by Apple and subject to Apple’s own policies.
ONE-TIME PURCHASE
PDF Expert Lite offers an optional one-time lifetime upgrade through Apple In-App Purchase.
Payments are securely processed by Apple. We do not receive or store payment card information.
DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical safeguards to help protect app functionality and user data.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The app is not directed toward children under the minimum legal age required in their country without parental consent.
INTERNATIONAL USERS
This Privacy Policy applies globally and is intended to align with generally accepted international privacy standards where applicable.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.

USE OF THE APP
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the app to:
Violate laws or regulations
Forge signatures unlawfully
Process illegal or harmful material
Violate intellectual property rights
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or services
Interfere with app security or functionality
USER CONTENT
Users retain ownership of all files and documents created, scanned, imported, or edited within the app.
PURCHASES & PAYMENTS
The app includes optional paid features available through Apple’s App Store billing system.
All purchases are final except where required by applicable law or Apple refund policies.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The app design, software, branding, and interface are protected by intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized copying, modification, or redistribution is prohibited.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free operation.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
Loss of documents or data
Device or storage issues
Corrupted files
Business interruption
Indirect or consequential damages
Third-party cloud or Apple service interruptions
Users are responsible for maintaining backups of important documents.
TERMINATION
We reserve the right to limit or terminate access to the app if these Terms are violated.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws.
Any disputes arising in connection with the app shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Surat, Gujarat, India.
