The app accesses a PDF or image only when you choose to select one to perform a task (such as merging, splitting, converting, adding a watermark, or extracting text). This access is used solely on your device to carry out the operation you request. Your files are never uploaded, shared, or stored outside your device.
All operations — including merging, splitting, extracting, deleting or rotating pages, adding watermarks and page numbers, converting between PDF and images, password protection, and text recognition (OCR) — are performed entirely and only on your device. Text recognition runs fully offline. Temporary files created during processing are stored in the app's private storage and are removed automatically. Files you export are saved only to the location you choose and remain under your control. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
The app connects to the internet only to display advertisements. Your documents, images, and the contents of any file you process are never transmitted over the internet.
PDF Converter CAT uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may collect certain device information such as device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant advertisements. This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting your device settings under Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
PDF Converter CAT is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used this app and provided any personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
