2. Offline Processing

PDF Candy performs all PDF operations locally on your device.

Your PDF files are never uploaded to external servers, shared with us, or transmitted to any third party. All editing, merging, splitting, compression, conversion, and related processing occurs entirely on your device.

The App’s core functionality works completely offline.

3. Data Collection and Analytics

PDF Candy uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous usage statistics that help us improve app performance and features.

Disabling Analytics

4. File Access

The App requests access only to files that you explicitly select using the Android system file picker.

These permissions allow the App to:

You may revoke file access at any time through Android system settings. Once revoked, the App will not be able to access previously selected files until permission is granted again.

5. Temporary Data

During processing, temporary working copies may be created in the App’s local cache.

6. No Advertising

PDF Candy does not display advertisements within the App.

7. Third-Party Services

PDF Candy uses the following third-party service:

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your personal information, PDF files, or document content to any third party.

8. Exports and Local Storage

Processed files are saved to the folder you choose (such as Downloads or Documents).

The App maintains a recent files list to help you quickly access previously processed documents. This list:

9. Security

Because all files remain on your device, you are responsible for securing your device.

We recommend:

PDF Candy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If enabled, analytics data is retained according to Google’s data retention policies (typically up to 14 months).
