Privacy Policy — PDF24 Tools
Last updated: September 9, 2026
PDF24 Tools (com.pdf24455i.app) is an on-device PDF utility. This policy describes what the app does with files and data.
PDF24 Tools processes PDFs and images on your device. Current features do not upload documents, images, or passwords to a server.
The app reads only files you choose through Android’s Storage Access Framework and writes output files to locations you select (or to a default folder you set in Settings). It does not request access to all files on the device.
A local list stores file name, type, size, date, and a content URI so you can reopen recent output. This list stays on the device. You can clear it in Settings. Clearing the list does not delete the files themselves.
If you protect or unlock a PDF, the password is used only in memory for that operation. Passwords are not stored, logged, or sent anywhere.
The app may create working copies in its cache while a job runs. Those files are deleted when processing finishes or when they become stale.
PDF24 Tools does not use contacts, location, camera, microphone, or all-files storage access. It uses the system file picker and, on Android, a standard permission Android may add for app components.
This version does not include advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or account sign-in.
The app is a general-purpose document tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date will be revised. The current policy is also available in the app under Settings → Privacy policy.
