Thank you for using NovaResume (“the App”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our resume builder application.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

NovaResume does not collect, store, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

All resume content—including personal details, work experience, education, skills, projects, and certifications—is created and stored locally on your device only.

We do not provide user accounts, cloud storage, or server-based processing. All resume creation, editing, previewing, and PDF exporting are performed entirely on your device.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

Your resume data is saved locally using the app’s internal storage or local database.
Exported PDF files are saved only to the location you select through your device’s file picker.

NovaResume does not transmit, upload, or back up your resume data to any external server.

3. Third-Party Services (Advertising)

NovaResume uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google AdMob may collect certain information automatically, such as:

• App interaction and ad performance data
  
  

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. NovaResume does not access, receive, or store this advertising data.

Where required by law, we display a consent message and manage user choices using Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP).

4. Data Security

We follow standard Android security practices to protect your data. Because all resume data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers, you retain full control over your information.

5. Children’s Privacy

NovaResume is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If you believe a child’s data has been processed through advertising services, please contact us so we can work with Google to address the issue.

6. Your Rights and Control

You can:

• Edit or delete your resume data at any time within the app
  
  

• Uninstall the app to permanently remove all locally stored data
  
  

NovaResume does not retain copies or backups of your data. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app and on the Google Play Store listing.
