Organiser — Doc Manager ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the app.
Information you provide:
- PDF and document files you import into the app (stored locally on your device only)
- Notes, highlights, and annotations you create within the app
- Reading goals and preferences you set
Information collected automatically:
- In-app purchase receipts processed by Apple (we never see your payment details)
- App crash reports (anonymised, collected by Apple)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide and improve the app's features
- Verify your Pro subscription status via Apple's StoreKit
- Restore purchases on request
- Send you reading reminders you have enabled (locally scheduled, no data leaves your device)
3. Data Storage
All your documents, notes, reading progress, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data or documents. No data is transmitted to our servers.
iCloud backup: if you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your app data may be included in your iCloud backup according to Apple's privacy policy.
4. In-App Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only a confirmation of your purchase status (active or inactive) from Apple's StoreKit — we do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID.
Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID settings. See Section 2 of our Terms of Service for full subscription terms.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not integrate with advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media SDKs. The only third-party service involved is Apple's App Store and StoreKit for payment processing.
6. Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Because we store all data locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can delete the app at any time to remove all locally stored data. For any data held by Apple (purchase history, iCloud backups), please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/privacy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where required, through an in-app notice.
