Welcome to PDF Reader, an application developed by Nexa Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app on your Android device.
By using PDF Reader, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
PDF Reader does not collect any personal data. The app operates entirely offline on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any information about you or your usage.
Specifically, we do not collect:
Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, device ID)
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Crash reports or diagnostic data
Location data
Any content from the PDF files you open
PDF Reader requires access to your device's storage solely to open and display PDF files that you choose. All document processing happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, scan, index, or access your files in any way. Your documents never leave your device.
PDF Reader does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with any third party.
The app may request the following Android permission:
Storage access: Required only to open PDF files from your device. This permission is not used to read, modify, or transmit any other files.
All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required on Android 11 and above to allow users to open PDF files stored anywhere on their device. This permission is used solely for reading PDF files selected by the user and is not used to access, modify, or transmit any other files.
Since PDF Reader collects no data and operates fully offline, there is no data transmission or remote storage involved. Your files and activity remain private on your device at all times.
PDF Reader is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data from any user, we do not knowingly collect information from children either.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
