Local Device Data & Files (On-Device Processing)
Documents & Media: The Application accesses files stored on your device (including DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, TXT, PDF, and image formats) to enable viewing, editing, format conversion, merging, splitting, compression, and file management. We do not upload, copy, or store your documents or images on our servers. All processing is performed locally on your device.
Camera & Scanned Images: To utilize the document scanner feature, the Application requests camera permission to capture physical pages, apply filters, and convert scans to PDF. Captured images are processed on-device and saved directly to your local storage.
Automatically Collected Information Like most mobile applications, we may collect non-personally identifiable technical information to maintain app performance, including:
Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Crash reports, error logs, and system performance metrics via third-party analytics SDKs (e.g., Google Firebase Crashlytics).
To deliver the core functionality of the Application, we may request the following permissions:
Storage / All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to discover, open, edit, organize, and save documents and exported files across device folders.
Camera (CAMERA): Required exclusively for the document scanner to capture pages for auto-edge cropping, enhancement, and PDF conversion.
Network / Internet Access (INTERNET): Used solely for diagnostic crash reports, performance monitoring, or serving advertisements (if applicable). Document content is never transmitted over the network.
You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may restrict related features (e.g., denying camera access disables the scanner).
We use the information we access or collect to:
Provide core functionality: reading, editing, converting, scanning, and managing office documents.
Execute PDF tools: merging, splitting, compressing, locking/unlocking, and image-to-PDF conversion.
Identify bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks to improve app stability.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce application terms.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data or document content to third parties.

Because the Application processes documents, scanned pages, and password protection locally on your device, your sensitive files do not pass through external networks or servers managed by AuraaByte. We recommend securing your physical device with a passcode or biometric lock to safeguard your locally stored files.
The Application does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate measures.
